Right, so I’ve got the tickets, I’ve applied for the visa (need to find out if it’s read but I’m not sure how because the Consulate specifically asks you not to phone them about that!)… what else do I need?

• clothes
• plug adaptor?
• backpack
• Japanese chargers for phone/DS
• more clothes, possibly
• external hard drive?
• batteries/battery charger
• air travel pass thingy

A lot of that I can probably get in Japan, but I don’t even know if they sell DS chargers in shops. Oh well.
