It’s surprisingly impossible to find a way of exporting photographs from iPhoto to a gallery and then sticking them on Wordpress. Aaargh.
(edit) Installed Coppermine — which went pretty smoothly. Now to hopefully use it with iPhoto…
(edit 2) …which doesn’t work. It would appear that nothing is compatible with iPhoto 7. And I doubt anyone’s going [...]

…which screws up the Gallery embedding, but you’ll just have to make do.

i’m afraid of Japan

Nippon, won’t you take me
Into your arms and make me
Into a sergeant
Emboldened and enlargened
37 days to go? That’s nearly five weeks! And 17 more shifts. And 660 more pounds. Planning is going reasonably smoothly. I’ve got practically everything except socks and underwear. I’ve decided not to take a sleeping bag because a) I probably won’t [...]

where to stay?
August 11th, 2007 · No Comments
Just looking through possible places to stay… the options are either guest rooms (¥56,000 p/month) or dormitory (¥39,000). Unfortunately, I went with my sister (home from Sheffield for the week), who has been backpacking everywhere and knows everything and goes on about it a lot. I had a shopping list, [...]

This is the Excel monstrosity I plan my finances on:
and it’s rather useful. I first crafted it back in February, and if I dug up an old saved copy it would probably say I should have £3,000 by now or something, but we all know that we spend more than we budget and save less [...]

Japan Planning Update #32
August 3rd, 2007 · No Comments
61 days to go! And I am counting the pennies. I should finally start full-time work next week, which will hopefully bag me £800 a month or so, and if I don’t spend too much should get me at least the magic £1,500 by mid-October, which is my last payday. I was worried that my [...]
