First I find out that Gmail has been sticking legitimate messages in the Spam folder, now I discover Thunderbird has been ignoring e-mails for some reason… that is to say, I logged into the Gmail webmail service and discovered a bunch of replies that Thunderbird hadn’t seen, possibly because they were threaded. Bleh.

I think I might switch to IMAP, which appears far less dodgy than POP.
