Going through the statistics for my site is absolutely fascinating.
For example, after I posted my photos from Nikko, bandwidth shot up to 483MB, up from 169MB the day before. Wednesday is the most popular day. The vast majority of visitors are based in the US, followed distantly by the UK and Australia. I have had one visitor from Ireland. The biggest user has an IP corresponding to a block used by a certain cable provider in the East of England. Some of the most-accessed pages on the site are the admin pages used by yours truly. 64% of users use Firefox. The most popular error code is “500 - Internal Server Error. Last month I had 569 unique visitors and served 38,000 pages.
The most popular keyphrase used on search engines to find my site is “japan”. Other interesting keyphrases used are “i want the leekspin song”, “eating in japan blog”, “harmonix phase” and best of all, “john tams and graham coxon with the under one sky ensemble” (yay! I’m on the first page of results!).
