Well, not quite, but I … simply cannot believe that two days ago I was actually in Tokyo. Me. This guy sitting here at this computer. (Incidentally, it’s so weird to have a full PC again. This 17″ monitor feels huge.) It’s … it’s really like I never left, like it was all a dream.

…Seriously. In my dreams in Japan, the world of home in Britain and the world of Japan merged, so that hopping between the two was never a problem, at least not in the dreams. Japan was as close as walking down the street.

Was I really in Japan? Did it all actually happen, or was it all a dream?

…It’s like, when someone close to you dies, you can’t accept it immediately. You keep expecting them to walk in through the door at any moment. And likewise… I keep expecting to wake up in Tokyo, or to be heading back tomorrow. It’s totally unreal.
